Friday, March 31, 2006 San Diego Kayak Clinics Cancelled...Darn! Here's wishing everyone down in SUNNY San Diego a GREAT Sea Kayak Symposium this weekend! I regret, that do to family health matters, I will not be able to attend. As a side note to my previous entry; today my father and I fly home from SUCCESSFUL Open Heart Surgery # 2! All is well, and he's doing much better than he has over the entire past year! Once again, I'm sorry that I am missing such a FUN event. Jen and the Crew of Aqua Adventures always throw a GREAT PARTY...(oh yeah, ya learn lots of stuff too)...and I sure wish you all "The Best in The Sun" this weekend! Cheers, brent

Open Heart Surgery for Dad:
Training, Teaching and Normal Life are on hold for a bit just now. I am currently in Rochester MN at The Mayo Cliinc. My Dad, Sister and I are here to get Dad a new heart valve. Surgery is tentitively scheduled for Tuesday...The Beat Goes On.
Canoecopia was Fantastic as usual. I spoke to over 300 folks about the Magic of "The Forward Stroke". Five yrs ago, none of my contempories would have believed that standing-room only audiences would care two-shakes about this most basic movement. I LOVE it! Cheers to all, Brent
